In the past, x-rays were film-based. While the images they created were very helpful, the process certainly had some drawbacks. The film took time to develop, required toxic chemicals to do so, and the machine emitted radiation.
To make our practice better, we’ve upgraded and now only use digital x-rays. Our new machine can create images almost instantly, and we can even show them to you on a chairside monitor. Also, no chemicals are necessary, and our patients are exposed to 90% less radiation. It’s a faster and safer method that allows us to provide a higher quality of care for our patients, which is always our number one priority.
